I was engaged to carry out this project in January 2021 as part of a creative initiative to celebrate the summer that saw us mix in society again.

This was a temporary installation as we had the site for a period of three months only (the Tranquillity park in Mullingar town), I worked closely with then Westmeath arts officer Miriam Mulrennan and mentor Michael Fortune to create an interactive sensory space that could be accessed during times of Covid 19 lockdown.

I engaged the members of Mullingar Arch Club (social club for people with additional needs) to create elements for the gardens and to provide their input and feedback. This was a very popular attraction in Mullingar with an estimated 3000 visitors over the summer. This space was used by local schools, birthday parties, photoshoots and even a ballet recital.
